Q: Why is it so gritty in texture? Will this hurt my baby?
A: Our Herbal Baby Powder is made from herb powders, not clays or anything super fine, so it won’t have the same texture as normal baby powder. This will not hurt your baby.
Q: It is difficult to wipe it off during diaper changes. What do you recommend?
A: Our baby powder does not need to be wiped off completely during diaper changes.
Q: Can I grind it into a finer texture?
A: You can, but because it’s made from plants, it may not have a fine texture even if you get it into smaller particles.

So I bought this powder a few years back when my child was just born. The texture turned me off because it wasn’t like typical powders even other natural talc free kinds. It’s kind of an itchy/gritty
feel so I never used it on my child. So it sat in my drawer for a few years til recently. I had a bad rash under my breasts that I could not get rid of. I remembered I had this & started putting it on twice a day. It does take getting used to but hang in there. You could even mix it with corn starch or arrowroot powder if you’re looking for more of a powder texture. This is just ground up herbs. But this alone has shown amazing results. My rash is almost cleared up in just a few days! Ive had the rash for months! This is definitely a multiuse product- It can be used for diaper/bikini areas, under breasts, between thighs etc. It won’t stop you from sweating obviously, but it will stop the itchy chafing rash from starting. It might feel a little weird at first but you soon forget it’s there. I wish I would have given this a chance sooner. Definitely recommend!

I was very excited for this baby powder but sadly it leaves more to be desired. I enjoy the smell and the ingredient list, but it is not a fine, powder consistency; it is rather grainy. Whenever I attempt to apply it to my baby’s knee or elbow pits, it doesn’t stick like powder.

Love the smell of this and that it’s got great ingredients, but the texture seems harsh. I don’t know if it’s going to both my baby’s sensative skin with the grittiness of it, so I don’t use it often. Occasionally used it on her armpits and it didn’t seem to bother her. Will use it occasionally when needed but I wish it was a finer powder.

I wanted to love this baby powder but I’m only giving it 3 stars. It smells great and in fact does work pretty good but the grainy/gritty texture isn’t my favorite. I feel that it is hard to clean off. I wonder if the texture bothers my baby but the area is never red so apparently not. The other issue I have is the container. It’s hard to apply and I always end up making a mess trying to pinch some with my fingers and sprinkle it on baby’s bottom. I bought this a while back before the new container change so hopefully it’s easier to apply and not as messy with the new design. I use this with my cloth diapers and it washes right out and I have not experienced any issues with the diapers.

I got this before I had my second baby. Her cord fell off in a record T days! And it never stunk horribly like they normally do. I’ve also used it to pat on spots of mild diaper rash and cleared it up in a few hours. Finally I used it in the creases of skin that we’re just not getting enough air in my newborn and the skin was getting close to splitting. It worked wonderfully. Plus, it smells amazing.
