Usage
Wet skin; cover with a thin layer of mask. Allow to dry for about 10 minutes, then rinse clean.

Q: My face is really red for a bit after I use this. Is this normal?
A: This mask can draw a lot of blood to the surface of your skin, so temporary redness is normal. If you are experiencing redness for more than a few hours, discontinue use.
Q: Why does this have a cancer warning on it?
A: The state of California requires a warning on products with clay in them for potential cancer risks. Our sources for the clay are non-toxic, however. We simply add the label to be able to ship this to California.

i gave this mask 4 stars because it is a good mask – it smells good, is not terribly messy, is easy to remove, and does leave the skin feeling smooth and soft. however, it left my daughter’s skin very red and feeling burnt and it burned while it was on her skin. we think she’s just allergic or reacting to the lavender essential oil in it specifically and not the product itself, but if you’re at all sensitive to lavender oil be warned. she doesn’t use lavender oil much, but on the occasions when she has she said she didn’t like it (although previous applications were smaller areas and usually burns, that’s not the same as spreading it all over one’s face and there’s no way to know if the burn she felt before was the burn itself or the lavender). BUT she said, if lavender is ok with your skin then it’s a great mask and she was kind of bummed she wouldn’t be able to order it again. she’d love to try a version of this mask with a different essential oil!
