Rub a small amount on exposed skin areas, especially around the ankles and neck. Reapply as needed.

Q: Is this safe for my baby, or mom while pregnant/breastfeeding?
A: Safe for babies from 6 months, and can be used safely during pregnancy and breastfeeding!
Q: Why is this in a stick instead of a spray?
A: The most effective ingredients were all oil-based, so it made the most sense to be in a stick.
Q: This melts! What can I do about it?
A: These oils will melt if in the direct sun or hot car. We recommend placing it inside a bag or container where it won’t make a mess if it does melt. Melting will not affect use; it will still work!
Q: How much do I need to use?
A: For backyards or low-bug areas, a little on your neck, wrists, and ankles should be enough. If you will be in the deep woods or high-bug areas, apply to all exposed skin.
Q: Why is my product so dark? It's never been this dark before.
A: Natural products do vary by growing season or slight changes in plant variety. This does not change effectiveness.

Let me just say I know everyone is allergic to mosquitos (which is why we itch and get bumps) but my son is crazy allergic and no bug spray works for him at all! But 2 years ago we found this! If i could post a picture it would be worth a thousand words. We’re in Florida and the mosquitoes at this time of year are hungry. My son and my husband went out for a walk last night. My son was covered in pest aside. My husband only put it on what he could reach(his back was exposed) my son got no bites. DEFINITELY EFFECTIVE, but not my favorite for a couple of reasons: personally, I’m not a fan of the smell of patchouli. I’d much prefer more citronella (and possibly eliminating the patchouli all together, if possible). My husband said that it was very effective out on the job, but it’s thick/oily and a little hard to rub in when you have hairy arms, haha. If Earthley were to develop a spray that would make application more even, I think that would be better for him.

I purchased the trial size. The smell is great but believe a little too strong for a baby. Worked on my baby cause i didnt see bites on him, but for my dad and i didnt work so well. We also noticed that attracts bees! My dad was the one to point it out, and yes every time we apply we start to get followed by them.

I purchased the sample size to try out at the end of summer last year and I will definitely be purchasing a full size version for the summer season this year.
