I have never used bar shampoo before so this was a big leap for us, but I wanted to use something for me and my girls that was truly non toxic.
I will never use anything else. Our hair is less poofy and frizzy. It is shinier and sleeker. It feels so much more healthier and our scalps feel cleaner.
It lathers really well and rinses out quickly. Our hair is also so much easier to comb. The 4 of us have long and think hair and it used to take me over an hour to comb everyone’s hair. I can now comb all our hair in under 30 minutes. It’s also made it easier for my 7yr old to learn how to comb her hair. Her hair is thick, tangles easily, and is just plain difficult to work with, but ever since using this shampoo her hair has been so much easier to work with and she can actually try to comb it her self.

I really really wanted to love this product. It smells nice and lathers well, but I CANNOT get it to fully wash out of my hair. I don’t have overly long or thick hair, either. I’ve used this shampoo bar about 5 times, and each time, I’ve been very intentional about scrubbing and rinsing my hair thoroughly and I still can’t get it to wash out, leaving my hair looking and feeling greasy. I finally went ‘no poo’ and used baking soda and ACV tonight, and now my hair feels so clean. I’ve been using this shampoo bar as face soap because I don’t want to throw it away and waste the money I spent on it, and I trust the ingredients on my face, as well. However I won’t be buying it again 🙁

I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong, because this shampoo leaves my hair super dry and tangled. The leave-in conditioner just feels like water and does nothing to detangle or hydrate my hair. Maybe it’s a detox phase and it will get better? I was hoping to love this, but can’t say that yet. I am really fine, oily hair, and we have hars water, so maybe that makes a difference.

One of the BEST products from Earthley that I’ve tried. My hair is so soft! I have greasy-prone hair and this shampoo bar has been amazing. No residue or coating left on my hair after washing. I’ve used a few sprits of the earthley conditioner before brushing and love that too. Make sure you get it to a nice lather & scrub your scalp. Wash it well and it works like a charm. 🙂

Love it! I tried the 3 in 1 bar (spring blossom), and I didn’t like it. It had a smell I didn’t like it, and made my hair heavy and greasy. But this one on the other hand, is amazing! I really wanted to like this! It didn’t lather much at all for me with my city’s water, and a little got in my eye, and not only burned like crazy but left my eye red for the rest of the day. No one else has mentioned anything about this, so maybe I’m the only person to have this problem, but I’m amazed to hear all these people with little children not mentioning any trouble with it burning their eyes. Must be just me!

I started using this shampoo bar, and at first I wasn’t sure if I was using it correctly; my hair was stiff and it was hard to work with in the shower, and often felt like I needed to do several washes to fell “clean”. After having used it for months now, I can say that it’s a much different experience and a big PLUS is that I don’t have to wash my hair as often! It also works well with the leave in conditioner spray, although I don’t always need that anymore!

This bar did not work for my fine hair. It weighed it down and left it completely unmanageable, tangled and almost felt wet and sticky even after it had completely dried. I tried it several times. I had such high hopes. The smell and lather was nice.

I don’t have much to compare it to as far as shampoo bars goes since this was my first experience but I’ve often used bar soap or Castile soap in place of shampoo and I honestly love this shampoo bar best.

I don’t even remember the last time I used a different shampoo after switching to this! I was informed to expect a detox process, but it only last about two weeks & I don’t wash my hair every day. I used to have a really itchy scalp & this has healed it! I also use an in shower brush with this because my hair is down to my hips. I do miss a good conditioner for my length & use a few drops of jojoba oil after my shower, then hair plop with a T-shirt (never towel) to keep frizz away. I think y’all could make an awesome clean conditioner bar or in shower oil that would put the cherry on top & compliment this shampoo bar! I love the smell as well!

I wasn’t sure how I’d like a bar after always using liquid shampoo but this works just fine! It lathers up really good and works fine for my hair (medium thickness, not dry or oily). I do feel bars waste a little but if you’re careful it’s fine – and you don’t need much to get a good lather so that’s nice. Smells good and cleans my hair well. And I wash it every other day.
