I have colored hair with highlights and can’t rave enough about this shampoo bar. I have never found a shampoo/conditioner that really cleans my roots well, leaves it full of body, & my ends so smooth and healthy! The first time I used it I figured I needed to still use a conditioner because my ends are so dry. It was too much, left my hair greasy. I tried it without conditioner the next time still using my very light spray detangler afterward and it’s perfect. This bar is shampoo and conditioner in one. Just make sure you really rinse it out well. I’m hooked.

I love this shampoo bar! It was the first shampoo that I ever tried, actually that I have ever heard of!! Last year I learned about the dangers of chemicals in commercial products and began slowly switching to natural products, where I learned about Earthley. I love most of the earthly products that I have tried so I was really excited to try this. Sadly this didn’t work out for me. It left my hair clumpy and sticky. It also seemed to hold the moisture in my hair way longer than normal so it was taking forever for my hair to dry after a shower.

I wanted to love this so bad, it works fine for my husbands hair but it makes my hair like clump together, like there’s left over residue, it’s hard to comb after it’s dry and just looks a mess. If there’s a reason why it’s doing this or a way to fix it I would love to know

The smell is amazing! The bar lathers really well…. But I am conflicted on whether I like this product or not. I’m a huge earthley fan, but I’m on the fence with this. My hair is terrible to comb while wet, even with the leave in conditioner spray. It almost feels tooooo squeaky clean. I love how light my hair feels, how it’s trying to curl again, and how it smells… but the way it feels so far is kind of odd to me. There’s gunk on my comb when I comb my hair too.. I’m hoping my hair just needs to detox. I was previously using a different brand of shampoo bar that didn’t make my hair feel this way, but I was using commercial products after I shampooed. I’m going to finish this bar regardless, but it doesn’t feel soft or silky like other reviews mention. I have longish, highlighted hair (blonde/red) if that matters. I haven’t noticed color fading or anything.. I need to wash about every other day. Sometimes I can skip 2-3 days maximum.

Love this shampoo bar! This shampoo bar surprisingly lathers really well. I don’t like how my loose hair strands get stuck to it but oh well. I personally like the smell. It makes me feel natural and I feel great knowing it is ALL natural and safe ingredients. I will try to use it on my toddler too. Oh, and my hair feels clean after I use it. It doesn’t feel sticky. And I have pretty oily hair. It has just gotten better with time after I stopped washing it so often. Wash it every 5 days now.

This made my hair very gummy. I couldn’t brush through it despite washing it 3 more times with my original shampoo. My hair won’t dry completely. Not sure how I will get this out. Not a fan!

My hair is thick and curly, and I searched for SO LONG to find a product that would work for my hair. I was skeptical at first about using shampoo bar, but I am so glad I switched to this product. This shampoo significantly reduces the amount of frizz my hair has after it dries. If I get my hair thoroughly rinsed, I can go several days without having to wash my hair again. And I am fairly certain my hair has grown several inches since I started using this shampoo a couple months ago, which is unusual for my hair to grow that fast.. Not only that, this shampoo is free of artificial fragrance and harsh chemicals and even alcohol which most shampoos (even the other “all natural” shampoos) have. The scent of this shampoo is lovely.
As a side note, be sure to keep the bar in a soap container or on a trivet, else it will leave a sticky mess on the tub.

This honestly exceeded my expectations! I was unsure how it would work as I had never used a shampoo bar before but I love it! My hair feels thicker and I love how it lathers so well. I bought some little hemp type bags so it can dry hanging up & I think that is really helping the bar stay so nice in between uses. I highly recommend this!

I really wanted to love this product with how clean the ingredients are, however I’m very disappointed in how it left my hair feeling. I have used this shampoo bar a handful of times now to try and see if the result would be better, with no success. The smell and lather is great but the way it left my hair feeling is horrific. I thought at first it was the leave in condition, but after using the bar a few times and switching conditioners, I realized it’s the bar. It left my hair feeling like I put a handful of grease in it and even when I blow dried it, it felt wet, greasy and would clump up my hair and make it stiff. It honestly made my hair look worse and more dull than before washing my hair. I was also very disappointed to realize it ruined my hairbrushes and left this awful white, waxy film that I couldn’t get off my brushes, so I ended up having to throw them out. Please be aware if you have medium to fine hair as you may experience similar issues. I will say that the customer service was good, when I contacted them about the confusion with their description of the leave-in conditioners and how the one I got was not working with my hair, they were able to send me the correct one.

I really wanted to like this product. It left my hair super greasy with build up. I think it’s due to all the oils they used to formulate the bar. Also desire keeping the bar out of direct water, even with regular shower use the bar has melted away. Disappointing had super high hopes for this product

Rub the bar in the hair for a really good lather! There is a transition period where your hair might feel off. After 3-4 washes, it was feeling soft again.
