## Description

We believe that taking vitamins shouldn’t require you to buy vitamins that contain ingredients that aren’t actually good for your health. Nature has provided natural sources of vitamins without fillers, binders, ascorbic acid, folic acid, and more harmful ingredients that are not necessary for our health. That’s why we took the time to find natural sources of vitamin C to provide you with a better option!

Some signs you may need our Immune-Aid Vitamin C Powder:

- Frequent Illness
- Low energy or fatigue
- Gut imbalance
- Dry, itchy skin

Conventional vitamin C supplements at the grocery store are full of fillers and binders that make digesting the nutrients of the vitamin take longer, and they can be harsh on your stomach. Plus, most grocery store vitamin C brands are made with ascorbic acid - manufactured vitamin C - not a true, real-food source.

Our Immune Aid Vitamin C Powder is formulated with three ingredients that contain natural vitamin C: camu camu powder, acerola berry powder, and orange peel powder. Our powder can be added to smoothies or taken in capsules for convenience! Support your immune systems all year round with our Immune Aid Vitamin C Powder!

- Promotes immune health
- Vitamin C
- Antioxidants
- Anti-aging properties
- Supports the immune system

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Can I add the powder to a drink or food?

Yes! Feel free to mix it into a smoothie, juice, applesauce, yogurt, or your favorite food or drink. It will not dissolve.

### Does Immune Aid contain stevia? Why?

A: The powder form does contain whole leaf, green stevia for flavor. The capsule version does not. We do not use the processed white powder; our stevia is leaf that has been grown, dried, and ground with no further processing.

### Q: Is there a limit to how much vitamin C powder a person can/should take?

A: We suggest taking it daily for best support, but if you need extra support, you can take it to bowel tolerance.

### Q: How do I know I’ve reached bowel tolerance?

A: You will have reached bowel tolerance when you begin to have runny stool.

### Q: When should I take the Immune-Aid Vitamin C Powder or the Vita-C tincture?

A: You can take either product for supplementing vitamin C in your everyday diet.

When needed, Immune-Aid can be taken "to tolerance."

Many people have heard of Dr. Suzanne Humphries’ vitamin C protocol. It recommends 5–10 grams per day for a child, broken down into small, frequent doses. This is often referred to as taking vitamin C "to tolerance."

When feeling ill, taking Vitamin C “to tolerance” is a common strategy. “To tolerance” means taking more than the regular dose every 4 or so hours backing off once you have loose stools. You know you have reached your ‘tolerance’ when you have to run to the bathroom! Because vitamin C does not get stored in our body, when the body gets what it needs, you eliminate it in your stool – in a quick fashion! So next time, take a bit less than that until you can “tolerate” the response. Then one continues that “to tolerance” amount until they feel the extra support is no longer needed.

### Q: What are the differences between Vita-C or Immune-Aid Powder? What are the differences?

A:

- Immune-Aid Powder has a higher concentration of Vitamin C than the Vita-C tincture.
- Immune-Aid is in powder or capsule form, which some prefer.
- Vita-C is in liquid form. Liquids are easier for some people, especially infants, children, and those who struggle with swallowing.
- The herbal ingredients vary slightly, with the biggest difference being the vegetable glycerin and filtered water base of the Vita-C tincture.

Both are great options, and it depends on your preference.

### Q: Does the vitamin C powder dissolve in liquid?

A: The powder does not dissolve in liquid, but it can be added to liquid to take orally.

### Q: My bottle doesn’t look very full. Why is that?

A: We fill bottles by weight, not to a certain level in the bottle, so it may not appear full, but it is the specific amount listed on the bottle.

### Q: Is the %RDA of Vitamin C for the powder and the capsules the same or does it vary?

A: The %RDA of Vitamin C is slightly less (approximately 1% lower) than the capsules because there is no stevia added to the capsules. Stevia does not detract from nutrients of the powder, but the capsules are slightly more concentrated because there is no stevia taking up room in the capsule.
