## Description

### How to Use an Open-Top Tea Strainer:

1. Place the strainer over your mug or teacup

2. Add your herbs or loose-leaf tea. Scoop 1 - 2 teaspoons of loose tea or herbal blend into the mesh of the strainer.

3. Pour hot water slowly over the herb. Bring your water to the appropriate temperature for your blend (not all herbs need boiling water). Pour the water gently over the herbs until they’re fully submerged in the strainer.

4. Steep and cover. Let it steep for the recommended time (usually 5 - 20 minutes). You can place a small plate or lid over the strainer to trap heat, especially when using medicinal herbs.

5. Remove the strainer and enjoy. Once steeping is done, simply lift out the strainer and compost the herbs. Rinse the strainer or pop it in the dishwasher.
