This tincture works great. I bought before I had baby to have just in case. On night 3 after he was born, he was super gassy and fussy due to my milk coming in. We were up most of the night before I remembered I even had this tincture. Within 15 minutes of giving it to him, he was sound asleep finally. I use it daily now, he is almost 3 weeks old. I LOVE this product! It takes about 10 minutes to work, but once it does – the difference is undeniable. He visibly relaxes and calms down. I’ve been doing a total elimination diet to identify the allergens in my diet that trigger my LO’s reflux & gassiness. Without these drops, he would be in so much more pain as we walk through this process. I wish I’d known about it for my firstborn!
I will say, it took a little while to figure out the right dosage for him. When I first bought it, the info for babies under 6 months wasn’t present, so I was giving him 4 drops – which definitely did NOT agree with him; it seemed to be a different pain than the reflux & gas, but it definitely caused him pain. 2 drops didn’t seem to impact his symptoms at all. We finally landed on 3 drops. I would recommend starting on the low end of the range, wait 10 minutes, and then administer 1 more drop if symptoms don’t improve. Also… frequency mattered for us too. Every 2 hours seemed to upset his tummy (he would spit up a LOT), but every 3 hours (on the hard days!) was just fine.
