Rub a small amount on exposed skin areas, especially around the ankles and neck. Reapply as needed.

Q: Is this safe for my baby, or mom while pregnant/breastfeeding?
A: Safe for babies from 6 months, and can be used safely during pregnancy and breastfeeding!
Q: Why is this in a stick instead of a spray?
A: The most effective ingredients were all oil-based, so it made the most sense to be in a stick.
Q: This melts! What can I do about it?
A: These oils will melt if in the direct sun or hot car. We recommend placing it inside a bag or container where it won’t make a mess if it does melt. Melting will not affect use; it will still work!
Q: How much do I need to use?
A: For backyards or low-bug areas, a little on your neck, wrists, and ankles should be enough. If you will be in the deep woods or high-bug areas, apply to all exposed skin.
Q: Why is my product so dark? It's never been this dark before.
A: Natural products do vary by growing season or slight changes in plant variety. This does not change effectiveness.

Summer in Texas, folks, is no joke! But with this stuff, I could walk /run in the mornings and evenings without getting a SINGLE bite! Also used it hiking in Oklahoma and Arkansas. AMAZING! I LOVE this for its ability to keep bugs away. It keeps even the smallest of gnats at bay. My biggest complaint isn’t about the product, but about the packaging itself. Because of the ingredients, this product liquefies at a fairly low temperature and it leaks. I now keep it in the fridge to keep it solid. I feel like it would be much more suitable in a small tub and applied with your fingers. It’s not a deal breaker for me though because the actual product works so well. The product has a strong anti-pest smell but it does not burn your nose and after awhile, you don’t even notice a scent. I wore it in the heat while gardening, and didn’t get any bites! That’s a win for me.

Very effective! We went blueberry picking in the rain yesterday and we’re swarmed by mosquitoes. We all came out unscathed. My dad, my toddler, myself, and my 1 year old were all fine. They still swarmed around us but they didn’t bite at all. My husband also said it was very effective when he was weeding the garden the other night. I like the portability of the tube, but I think a little pot of it would also be handy.

It did a fair job at keeping mosquitos at bay. My main issue with it is how impractical it is to use above room temperature. Maybe the fact that I’m in South Texas has something to do with it, but even in my home it melts into a liquid mess. The twisty “stick” design has oil melting out the bottom. It would have been more usable in a small jar or tub like Vaseline. The aroma is strong with this one as well. Some people might have a hard time dealing with the pachouli oil fragrance. I don’t mind it, but my kids hated it. Mix that with the fact that the melty oil got on everything and it was a failed endeavor from the beginning. I wanted to like it! I’m glad other people so, but these were my beefs with it.
