Q: My lip balm came a little bit melted. How can I fix this?
A: Nothing is wrong with your lip balm, just stick it in the fridge to re-harden it.
Q: What are the black specks in my lip balm?
A: We formulate our lip balm with real vanilla bean and those black spots are from the vanilla!
Q: Why is my lip balm grainy?
A: Our lip balm can feel grainy if it has melted a bit and re-hardened, and it may feel grainy from the vanilla bean. Nothing is wrong with it or its effectiveness. It is a natural product that doesn’t have binders or fillers in it, so the texture is different than a normal lip balm.
Q: How can I prevent my lip balm from melting?
A: If you want to take your lip balm on the go, we suggest storing it in a cooler to keep it from melting. If you have it at home, keep it in a cool area, not tucked in a pocket or some place warm.

Love the ingredients but not the consistency upon applying to lips. It has a very soft, oil consistency when applied, I think due to the coconut oil. My granddaughter likes it so I’ll continue to buy it for her, but I prefer a more solid feel to mine.

I’m not typically a peppermint person but it’s my favorite in this product. Has a slight cooling/tingly effect. I also really like the vanilla but all the flavors are lovely. I’d keep returning to Earthley for this product alone.

I can’t tell you if it’s nourishing or greasy or anything cause I wiped it off immediately after applying cause of the vanilla bean specks. Gross. Maybe the peppermint doesn’t do that but anything with vanilla beans ground up in it shouldn’t be for the lips. The only Earthley product I have disliked.

Like others have said when you apply it, it’s like rubbing oil on your lips. Very thin consists. I ordered the Blueberry vanilla and I like the smell, it’s very mild. But as others have also mentioned it arrived with the cap off so I’m not using it. The packaging in my order could have been better.

I LOVE every single one of my Earthley products, but this one unfortunately this one did not work for me. I actually did like how soft and easy it applies. Like others have said, it feels like it just melts onto your lips. But after a few minutes my lips felt 10x worse than before I applied it. My lips felt very dry and they burned.

I love the earthley products. I don’t mind the expense. So I ordered both of these Chapsticks. They arrived with the lid off of one (So I couldn’t use it) and when I tried the other, it was very grainy and very liquidy. I will not buy this again!

I got excited to use this product after reading all of the reviews, but I do not recommend it at all after receiving it. It is extremely oily and does not moisturize the lips at all. I love earthley for many things, but sadly not the lip balm. Mainly because it is so soft it’s almost a liquid. It’s wintertime now, I can’t imagine what it will do when it’s hot. It’s impossible to get just a little. Also, my lip cracked when I was using it multiple times a day, and it hurt. I switched to another natural tube, and it felt soothed and less cracked in just hours. Please fix your formula to set up a bit, and I’ll give it another try!

I’m extremely picky about my lip balm, since I also play a wind instrument. It’s taken me awhile to adjust, since I was used to the thicker beeswax feel of Burt’s Bees, but now I’m completely sold. Just ok in my opinion. A+ for ingredients but a little too “slippery” for me. I do like the gloss it provides, but I like a waxier lip balm. I tried this in two different flavors now—vanilla and then the blue bliss. I don’t think that should be a lip balm flavor, it puts a terrible taste in the mouth, like eating a candle. I’m so disappointed.

This does what chapstick should do—moisturize lips—but most have too many chemicals or cause an “addiction” to it. Not this. It leaves lips soft. It “melts” easily on the lips though, but still prefer this over other chapsticks.
