FAQs
Q: Is Arnica safe for open wounds?
A: We advise against using arnica on open wounds (All-Purpose Salve is a better option here), but a small amount is likely not going to hurt. If you accidentally use it on a bump that has a small cut, don’t worry! Avoid on larger wounds.
Q: How does this compare to homeopathic arnica? Is this homeopathic?
A: This is herbal arnica. We take whole flowers and infuse them in olive oil. Homeopathic arnica comes on little pellets and is very dilute. There are times you may want to use both, depending on what is going on (for example, if you strain a large muscle, taking both would be beneficial).
Q: Is this different or better than creams, gels, or ointments from the store?
A: We think so! Check the ingredients on other options — most have benzyl alcohol, potassium sorbate, or other things you don’t want on your skin. Ours is pure organic olive oil, organic arnica flowers, and candelilla wax — that’s it!

Loved this product so much. I first tried it at my sister’s house for some chronic pain I was dealing with in my knee and ankle. Typically ibuprofen is the only thing that would touch the pain at all. I’ve tried several other remedies with no luck. The first time I used this arnica salve at my sister’s house I realized 20 minutes later that the pain was completely gone. I was in a car accident back in ’03. I’ve was told I had 6 buldging disks and 3 herniated. I had poison shooting into my foot when I moved a certain way. It got to a point it hurt to move at all. My doctor had me on 360 percocet 10/325, 150 percocet 10mg, 360 roxicet 10, 360 methadone 10mg, several muscle relaxers, anti depressants, It took several years,
several different therapies, and my will power to get moving again and get rid of my modern day stuff dealer. I was 23 at the time of my accident, in collage to become a midwife. I know it shouldn’t have happened this was, but I had met someone, someone for the first time I had approached. He was the one that forced me to get cleaned up without even knowing about all the mess I was on or what had happened. He honestly thought I worked out all the time and that’s why I was always greesy/ sweaty looking and smelled of BO. He forced me to see I still had a life to live without intentionally doing so.
