Castor oil, applied externally, is one of the safest and most beneficial detox supports there is. Usage
Soak a cloth lightly in oil. Apply to area needed to treat and cover with a heating pad. (Purchase one of our Flax Heating Pads HERE.) Rest for 30 – 60 minutes. Repeat as needed.

Q: Do I need to use a heating pad for the cool formula?
A: You do not need to use any heat with the cool formula, but using a heat source will not negate any benefits of the cool formula.
Q: Can I use this to help my eyelashes grow?
A: Due to the herbal infusions in our castor oils, we do not suggest applying near the eyes.
Q: Can this help my hair grow longer and stronger?
A: Castor oil has been shown to improve hair growth. We suggest using our cool formula for hair growth because it has rosemary in it which is known to help hair growth as well!
Q: Can this be used during pregnancy?
A: This product is safe to use during pregnancy as long as it is applied on areas away from the lower abdomen.
Q: Is this breastfeeding safe?
A: Yes!
Q: Can this be taken internally?
A: We do not advise taking castor oil internally because it can cause gastrointestinal distress.
Q: What is the difference between the two formulas?
A: Both formulas have a base of castor oil, but their herbal infusions are different. The cool formula is infused with rosemary and peppermint leaves. The warm formula is infused with cinnamon and ginger root.
Q: Which one should I use?

A: Castor oil penetrates deeply into your body. It is known for breaking up tissue and helping lymph to move and drain throughout your body. Castor oil will penetrate into whichever organ it is placed over.
Q: Why do I need to use a cloth and not apply it directly to my skin?
A: Castor oil is an oil and will stain your clothes. We recommend using a cloth to avoid this.

We have been using this in our house for myself and 2 of my daughters. For myself, I use it on my eyes for prevention of wrinkles. I am 37 and I get a lot of remarks about how young I look. Most people think I am in my 20’s. Castor oil, folks! For my girls I use on their liver/abdomen area for help with detoxification. They are going to the bathroom way more regularly. My one daughter also commented that she has to pee now immediately upon waking and she wasn’t really like that before. I have also been using it on my daughter’s carbuncles. I mix a drop of 1 each of frankincense, lavender, tea tree, oregano in with castor oil and apply with a qtip. They seem to be drying out quickly. I use the warm formula on my abdomen with the flaxseed heating pad when I start my period. I get heavy cramping due to endometriosis. I love this stuff! I got my IUD out and I had this on hand and I used it for cramps afterwards! One thing I did notice with it though, was that I had some pretty intense pain the next morning when I used it the night before. Im not sure what that was because it did cause some stomach upset.
